Trouble Sleeping?

Sleep plays such a factor in so many areas of personal success. Weight gain can be attributed to poor sleep habits, stress can be attributed to poor sleep, aging can accelerate when we don’t get enough sleep. But what if you are one of those people that has trouble sleeping? Perhaps this tips can help.
Well here are 5 quirky tips to help you in that category:
1. Tense up your whole entire body from your toes to your head one region at a time and then let go all at once. Experts say that this will actually help your body to relax faster and sleep come easier
2. Keep a notepad by your bed so when your mind is racing instead of just trying to get the thoughts to quiet down get them out of your head. Write them down – journal and then return to sleep mode
3. Try to stay awake – kind of like what we would do to our kids, tell them the opposite of what is really going to happen
4. Read a book – even if I am reading something that I really want to read at night I often find myself asleep
5. Exercise – science shows that those who work out even first thing in the morning have better sleep at night
